so what sort of country worships God & Guns, will show the whole range of human violence and hacked up bodies on free to air
yet the free to air tv version CENSORS natural human body parts (whoah , female breasts, a guys cock ? NO WAY ) and censors not only the f. word but verbally censors human body parts - vagina ? ( the betty page chick's reference , about s05e04)

As an Australian, I couldn't agree more. Just finished season 5, and the dvd cover trumpets "uncensored". What a crock. I guess America's interpretation of uncensored is different to the rest of the world's. Graphic violence, which I have no issues with, is just fine. However, a breast, an arse cheek, or, worst of all, a shudder penis and hey presto! It's pixelation time. America is sure a land of inexplicable contrasts, graphic violence all good, breast and penis - "the horror". What gives?

False and ignorant piety of the religious right.
I just saw a toy store commercial where the actors are dolls, Ken and Barbie dolls specifically. As one of them addresses a Batman doll, the censors actually pixelated Batman's groin. A freaking doll groin. It was a kid's toy store commercial, fer godssakes. Because, you know, for Christian purity reasons, children must never view a groin. Sheesh.
