When is The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 4 coming?
    The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon
    will end with season 4.
Will Daryl and Carol stay in Spain or find their way home?
You can find all the important info about the grand finale here.
Combat comrades & friends: Carol & Daryl.
Season 3 came to an end. With a small reboot, the spin-off series involuntarily transported Daryl & Carol to Spain. The new chapter thrilled with Western vibes and Spanish passion, but after 7 episodes, the European adventure isn't over yet.
Unsurprisingly, they will linger in Spain a little longer. They were already renewed for a fourth season, which will also be the last for the spin-off. We summarized when Daryl Dixon will return to TV and what the season 3 ending reveals about season 4.
Warning: Spoilers for the end of Daryl Dixon Season 3 follow:
    Ending Season 3 explained
At the beginning of Season 3, Daryl (Norman Reedus) & Carol (Melissa McBride) were stranded on the coast of Spain. In order to return to the USA across the Atlantic, they pinned all their hopes on repairing their sailboat. But first, the duo was drawn into the troubles of the village of Solaz del Mar, in which they were involved.
    Daryl and his destroyed sailboat.
After Justina's (Candela Saitta) kidnapping, the finale sees Daryl and gitana cowgirl Paz (Alexandra Masangkay) embark on a rescue mission, which incidentally ends with the annihilation of the Spanish monarchy. The threat from El Alcazar seems to be averted for the time being, but a brutal confrontation erupts in Solaz del Mar. Mayor Federico
    "Fede"
(Óscar Jaenada) plans to execute Daryl, Carol and Roberto (Hugo Arbues) by hungry walkers. At the last second, Justina rushes to the rescue and publicly denounces her uncle's machinations, who is then locked in a cell.
Now, nothing stands in the way of a happy ending. Daryl & Carol's boat is seaworthy again, and their new Spanish allies (Roberto, Justina and Antonio - Eduardo Noriega as Roberto's father) want to join them to start a new life in the USA. Unfortunately, luck is not on their side.
Fede escapes from his prison and vows revenge on Daryl. A life-and-death struggle ensues on the beach, and the boat suddenly catches fire. Massive explosions put all hope of a speedy return home in flames. What now?!
What happens next in Season 4?
Daryl & Carol, along with their Spanish companions, must find a new way to leave the Iberian Peninsula. At the end of Season 3, unexpected support arrives. Frenchman Stéphane Codron (Romain Levi) also found himself in Spain and observed the explosions on the beach from afar.
    Codron (Romain Levi) from France.
In Season 4, six characters are now on a mission to find a transport route across the Atlantic. By ship or by plane? Unfortunately, that's not yet known. The nearby seaport of Puerto de A Coruña in Galicia or the historic Atlantic port of Cádiz in the south of the country could be a first port of call for a new boat.
Concrete details about the plot of Season 4 weren't yet revealed. Since this is the final season of
    The Walking Dead
spin-off, we can expect the story to culminate in a return journey to the USA. Whether all the main characters make it to safety in the end is another question.
Before the group, consisting of Daryl & Carol, Antonio, Justina, Roberto and Codron, reaches their destination, we can first expect more beautiful Spanish landscapes and locations, as well as new dangerous conflicts – and perhaps an answer as to whether Rick Grimes really has a brother in Spain [
Jeffrey from Barcelona, only known to the comic readers
    ].
Many fans share a specific wish for the spin-off's series finale: that Daryl Dixon finally learns that his friend Rick (believed to be dead) survived all those years ago and will hopefully be reunited with him in the end.
    Season 4 Start
Filming for the next season is in full swing in Spain since May 2025. If there are no delays, nothing stands in the way of a September premiere. Unlike previous seasons, the series finale will consist of 8 episodes.
So Season 4 is expected to premiere on AMC in September 2026. The spin-off
    The Walking Dead: Dead City
    [
    Negan
] will also provide further walker content, although it's not expected to return with season3 until 2027.

As well as I remember, Daryl and Rick weren't
    "friends"
    .
Self-proclaimed Democrat and elite-troop-leader Rick was busy with being a leader and recurring psychoses,
while Daryl always liked doing his own things.
And if you look at the very last scene of Season 3, my prediction is
that Daryl will stay in Europe and find true love again (Isabelle II or Isabella). 🏍️🤴🏻👸🏻

I dont think anyone cares at this point Tara, TWD should have ended years ago. It has become it's very synopsis, a walking corpse.
      Let it go, Tara.

        Don't be a sore loser, Dane. 🇬🇧
Just because the last Tommy died in the very first episode of season 3,
you don't have to say goodbye to the entire series.
