It seems these shows have little meaning in the actual awards, anymore, like how Johnny Depp did not win, years and years ago.
It was like some joke on us, though.
½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish? ..?

This isn't the type of show that wins Emmys even if it is better than a lot of shows that do win. The Emmys like more serious dramas.
