I don’t know but maybe you mean Denis something or other who killed a load of people in his London flat and they discovered it because the drains were blocked by all the body parts he had tried to flush away.

I sort of liked the first four episodes, even with the Yogi Bear voice
They went behind the scenes of one of my favorite movies of all time and made a director who is sometimes derided look ****ing awesome! Plus

Yes I was on board at the beginning although I found the Hitchcock content went on for too long but then after having finished it it does seem like there wasn’t enough of a story with just him so they had to fill it with all these extras and the scenes where he was imagining stuff.
The finale was so, so bad though. Like absolutely ****ing stupid -

I was talking more about the Texas Chainsaw Massacre stuff. Tobe Hooper was plagued by allegations that Spielberg ghost-directed Poltergeist (although Spielberg denies this) and that his later work was utter **** (partially true, but the same can be said of John Carpenter). But here he's treated like the horror legend he was, so I liked that.
It sort of felt like Murphy wanted to make something similar to his Bette and Joan series from years ago and maybe he should have just done that.

Yes but they spent a lot less time on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and also the Buffalo Bill scenes. Alfred Hitchcock went on for too long and he just looked so weird. Like really bad prosthetics I am guessing.
Was the Bette and Joan thing about the Baby Jane movie? I remember something about that a few years ago but I didn’t watch it. -

Yeah, that was the one. It was part of his "Feud" series. One problem Murphy has always had is that he takes on way too many projects at once and then slowly seems to lose interest in them. I haven't checked out AHS in years, but I'm sure it's complete garbage by now.

I think I made it through part of season six and watched the beginning of season nine when I was bored one day. I really enjoyed the first two seasons, but 3-5 were a bit of a mess and each of them less entertaining than the last. I gave up on six because I know the Roanoke story quite well and there are so many better directions they could have went with that concept.

I’m not as out of touch as I first thought as there are only two seasons I haven’t seen. The 11th has Zachary Quinto and Denis O’Hare so I think that might be worth checking out. I like when there are the familiar actors.

For streaming, they should all be on Hulu (I believe it's Disney overseas?). The premise for season 11 does sound interesting. The show always does seem to have solid casts. The second was particularly stacked imo.
