We can all agree this cast is flawless - their acting was top notch and was the greatest part of this dynamic film.
Meryl Steep - well she was amazing as a truly despicable character which I haven't seen her play before.
Julia Roberts - perhaps the best she's ever been, she really held her own and was incredible thorough out.
Juliette Lewis - she was great as the meek, airheaded sister, she really came across as someone who's damaged and desperate but trying to hide it. I love how she made her voice a little higher.
Julianne Nicholson - the highlight for me, she gave such a natural performance and the chemistry with Benedict was really something special, I hope they have another project together.
I could go on and on, especially with the amazing Margo Martindale and Chris Cooper who were just, wow!

Haven't seen the film yet but with that cast
I do like Julia Roberts. Also Dermot Mulroney is always watchable. Ditto Ewan McGregor.
I also like ensemble cast films. Crash and Gosford Park being two of my favourites.

Then you HAVE to see this movie.
It's a great ensemble - every character has a vital role to play in the bigger picture and all get their chance to shine

I just tuned in to re-watch, and had forgotten what an excellent cast it had. So good. It's a bit scenery-chewy, but nevertheless.

It's a mighty fine cast. Since Meryl and Julia have been praised at length, I'll add extreme kudos for Chris, Margo, Julianne, Juliette, Ewan and Abigail. And to think I watched for Benedict!
