Grace is the best person in the entire movie. Although I enjoyed Anna, Grace showed up such a maternal and soulful side to the somewhat superficial fashion industry. The way she spoke and came across made me wish she was my godmother or something - i just want to be friends with her! The way she interacted with the models, especially Coco and Raquel when she's eating the tart. And also when she called her the photoshop people to tell them not to photoshop the camera man's gut - it made her seem so down to earth and caring.
I hope Anna takes Grace more seriously because Grace certainly deserves more than what she got in the movie.
p.s. the Galliano photo that Grace loved so much was the best one of the bunch and should not have been scrapped! -

I've got to be honest, I liked Anna Wintour better than Grace Coddington. I cannot even believe that Grace would challenge Anna on some many occasions throughout the movie. Plus, most of the movie she whined about how Anna took out her favorite photographs. Deal with it. Anna gets what she wants, she should know that. Although, I did like Grace during the scene where she said not to retouch the photograph.

Well my goodness-she was in a car accident that effectively ended her modeling career. And now she's over 60, so give the woman a break about her looks. I actually liked that she padded around the hallways in her black "uniform."
I also agreed when what Anna rejected, but what was interesting for me was the give and take between the two creative visions. What gets left in the magazine is almost almost as fascinating as what gets removed. -

There are many people who try to make a good impression appearance-wise at work but when it comes to actually doing the job, they are mediocre at best. Grace may not wear the most glamorous work attire but she has so much talent, creativity and experience that she can dress any way she likes and still have admiration and respect of "the single most important person in fashion".
Oh, and get over yourselfdarling.

I thought Grace and what she does certainly shined in this movie. I don't feel sorry for her and the way she is treated by Anna, that's I think sort of the whole point of this, while Anna is the captain of the ship, she really has a talented crew, and how do you work with differentpeople and their different personalities to put out a succesful product. Something to be learned by everyone who is out there in the working world.

Grace was clearly meant to be the "heroine" of this film, a foil against whom Anna's sometimes harsh decisions played. She didn't cower in Anna's presence, which made her so much more interesting. It is clear that they both respect each other immensely, even is Anna is her boss.
The fact that Grace is a little bit "shocking" to look at when you first see her just makes her more interesting, and I wanted to see a whole movie just on her, by the end of it (well, I guess this one kind of WAS). It made me so much more interested in actually looking through a Vogue, knowing her story. -

The Galliano photo was a very beautiful photo, but it didn't fit with the other photos. While Grace channels her vision into her photos, Anna has to keep the big picture in mind.
Does anyone know why this site does not list Grace in cast list?
