Dude, I think I found the problem to the overheating and I didn't even have to take it fully apart. You can clean the fan and dust catchers yourself but what they don't tell you is about the holes that lead to the power supply. Someone suggested to stick a torch down to check so I flashed my phone light in and well, all of the holes were clogged. I poked out what I could with a makeup brush (lol) without taking it apart and I'm hoping it solves the problem. The cover before you get to the motherboard has 42 screws alone and I just can't be arsed with it.
The ps4 was the best. You could strip it down and take the motherboard out with zero risks. Idk why they have to keep ****ing us over like this.
