Mozzie Must Know…

That was the impression I had. Mozzie was in on the con. He would of course come up with the conspiracy theory, Peter would expect that, until he made Peter believe he was grieving over Neal.. No matter what great acting from all involved.

I don't think Mozzie knew. Neal was very secretive even from him from the beginning of the Pink Panthers' case. He withheld his plan to Mozziewe saw that even when it was just the two of them. I think that it was later that either Mozzie figured it out (probably out of refusal to believe/accept Neal was dead) or Neal sent a clue to get him to the container too. Mozzie obviously went to the container because he left the playing card there. I suspect once he got there, he found the bottle of wine and instructions to give it to Peter.

I think he knew all along. Remember when Keller left and they talked about double crossing him? We didn't see that part. Also while the money was falling on Mozzie he was listening to the same french song that was playing in the end in Paris.. It was a hint to him knowing.

Oh I forgot about the song, good point.
After reading that TVLine interview with Eastin we now know that Mozzie knew at the end, but the more I think about it, maybe he actually knew all along. MAybe this was Mozzie's greatest con too? -

All this makes sense. On a separate thread, I was not realizing there were clues everywhere. I asked about the thing Neal stuffed into his mouth.
People said a puffer fish. So, where does that fit in? They are extremely poisonous, and how would this have helped Neal? -

He needed to look dead and it seems the poison of the puffer fish does that. That is what helped Neal to convince Peter that he is dead.

Yeah the whole thing was a con. Surely White Collar fans didn't fall for it?
He obviously stuck around for a year to play out his role before heading off to join Neal. However before he left they led Peter onto the con.
Peter went to find Mozzy but he's gone.
Peter wants to book a flight but decides against it. He's a father now and a changed man. Neal remains "free".
The End. -

Or Eastin finding some Network willing to pick up the story and go another seasons with it.
I can see Neal coming back to NY after some years and working as an consultant to the FBI again, playing is "brother" or something.
Or alternatively: "White Collar: Paris" ;D -

White Collar is a closed thing. A spinoff show with either Mozzie or Neal id. Ask the producer & actor(s) if they would like to do that, would be interesting to know.

No no no he didn't know, there's no way Mozzie wouldn't spend a whole year in a city he didn't wanna be in for no reason when he could have left to be with Neal at any moment
Just wouldn't make sense, I mean I know he had now befriended the Burkes but Caffrey comes before them to him! -

dude, they hinted that he was in on it earlier in the episode. Do you remember the song that was playing when he was getting the money from the pipes?
Also, you are aware that Moz had the money, right? How do you think Neal got money?
He stayed behind to sell the con (he and Neal obviously have something else planned). If he would have packed up and left out of the blue, that would have set off red flags. -

Agreed. Mozzie hung around long enough to sell it.
He's going to Paris. "I can't stay in one place too long" and "See you around" told us that. Plus, he left the card, the sign that one is not returning, as he'd pointed out to Peter. -

Exactly. Of course one can make an argument that there are more queen of hearts cards int the world lol but I'm certain it was in the container to symbolize Mozzie being in on it. Besides, I don't want to think Neal is
that
cruel.
