When did you start to watch White Collar?

I knowwasn't Matt gorgeous in the movie "In Time"! Too bad he only was in the first 15 minutes of the movie
. I always thought he should of played the Justin Timberlake role instead. I think Matt would of brought the character up a notch, just that Justin had the bigger name i.d. I suppose.
Love the chemistry of all the characters in this show! I can not see anyone cast for the role of Neal but Matt! He adds so many layers to his character, not just his looks (but those expressive beautiful blue eyes)! He might be charming but behind the facade, we also see vulnerability, and a wanting to know his past and lead a "normal" life.
And yes, next to Neal, I LOVE Mozzie! One of my favorite episodes Mozzie was in, in fact the whole episode is about him, is "Dentist of Detroit". I love his hilarity and sincerity in that episode. As for Peter, I love the big brother bromance these two have. Point blank, the casting people should have won an award for picking such great actors for these characters: Neal,Peter,Elizabeth,Diana, Jones and Mozzie! Plus, it is one beautifully filmed show! Makes me want to move to Manhattan!
Can't wait to get Season 6 on May 5th! What a great season! THIS SHOW IS VERY ADDICTING! -

I started watching live with 101 and never missed an episode until the early Season 4. Then I stopped watching lots of TV for family reasons
for a couple of years, but now I'm back! And treating myself to the complete White Collar rewatch.
It's my guilty pleasure, and not because it's bad, but because I love it so much
I usually go for grittier television and darker atmosphere, but I couldn't resist the siren song of Neal Caffrey and his con artist ways.
What hooked me was the ensemble dynamics, I love how all of them interact: the banter, the snark, hating the van, teasing Neal, teasing Peter, etc. It's just so. much. fun. Also, the abundance of good art and good taste on screen, with the assumption that viewers are familiar with those.
On the rewatch, I still love Neal best and I root for him unconditionally, but Mozzie has been promoted to my close second favorite. I adore Elizabeth and her relationship with Peter even more this time around, and I have a complicated outlook on Peter's relationship with Neal: sometimes, I'm charmed, and sometimes, I resent the power that one has over another.
I still have three seasons left to watch; it'll be a wonderful summer! -

I'm with you all the way on everything you said! I'm also the type that likes edgier shows. All and all, I am a big fan of 1960's & 1970's classic TV. My all time favorite shows are along the fair of "The Fugitive", "Naked City", "Combat", "Police Story" and "Route 66". White Collar reminds me of days gone by when shows had a good story, actors had perfect chemistry with each other, and were just fun to watch.
Even though I have all the box sets, I still find myself watching WC when its on TV live. So I have seen many of these episodes 5 or 6 times, and still never get enough of this show! It is worth every cent to own the box sets because you get all the commentary, gag reels and such. The casting people should get an award for casting such a great ensemble!
I can't see anyone but Matt Bomer (sigh) play Neal, and I absolutely love Willie Garson as Mozzie. There are so many times I laugh out loud when Mozzie's on! He's so adorable! They're chemistry is off-the-charts! I love the bromance of Neal & Peter, and seeing the loving stable relationship of Elizabeth & Peter.
You said you have three more seasons to watch, let me tell youthe best is yet to come! -

Ha, my husband is a big fan of classic TV, so I know it by osmosis! I'm more True Detective and Penny Dreadful, but White Collar is such a wonderful and happy antidote to my usual fare, even if not without an undercurrent of angst.
Do you think they would ever do the bluray edition? So far, I've been getting my dvd sets from the library, but I know I'll end up owning them.

I'm excited you say this because sometimes, shows slump towards the end. Neal's on an island right now, looking fine in his tropical whites, and he just got shot. Loving this! I hope for some new romance, not just flings for him in those three seasons. -

You ask if there is a Blu-Ray edition? The only season you can get the show on Blu-Ray is the first season. Amazon sells the whole 6 seasons of WC for a little under $100.00 US. I own all the seasons individuality. It all comes out about the same.
Like you I am also a big fan of shows like True Detective, Breaking Bad and American Horror Story (can't wait to see Matt in the new season of this!). Unfortunately, I don't get to watch a lot of TV due to working many hours. So I try to own all the box sets to all the shows I love or DVR them.
I'm also assuming that you haven't seen the final episode of WC, so I won't say too much. All I can say is that it's one of the best & moving endings to a show I have seen in a long time! -

I actually started watching White Collar at the beginning of this year. I had just finished watching Criminal Minds on Netflix & wanted another series to watch that wasn't short (tv series with only a few seasons) & entertaining without being too serious & still lighthearted with some comedy thrown in. I kept seeing White Collar in the "more like this" section for my previous shows. I kept skipping over it thinking I wouldn't like it & I didn't really recognize any main characters as actors/actresses that I love, but I finally gave in when I couldn't find anything else I liked & I am definitely glad I did.

How fun, there's so many posts on this thread from familiar names on the Matt Bomer board (duh, I know, just sayin)
I watched all of WC this fall on Netflix bc I was looking for a new show after having finished Dexter. Got hooked immediatly (pilot!), loved everything about it. Became a big fan of Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay (and, agree, those two together are great!), even though there hasn't been anything new yet from Tim DeKay(he will be in a new series 2016). Watched a lot of other stuff with Matt Bomer since but for me personally, WC was the best yet.
Miss the show. Still looking for something with a similar mix of light-heartedness and fun with a fleshed-out story, suspense, development of characters, great setting/scenery, good acting, likeable original characters with chemistry Ah, not gonna happen I guess :-).

yep I saw the trailer, I think he plays the dad of the main lead. Not sure if that's my kind of show but I kinda got into that mystery stuff lately. Hasn't been my genre really.
But - thinking of it, I watched Buffy and Charmed (blame me, I was very young
) at the time and liked it. And I am now getting into Supernatural and liking it. Hm.
