mmmm - let me think about that for a moment - I am inclined to the opinion that on the whole I believe they were tending towards a more humorous examination of the zombie condition. The gratuitous use of multiple stereotypes and stereo typical situations, gore & heavy munitions, impenetrable slang and clichs by the bucketful combined with an excellent cast of distinguished, long established plus younger but already recognisable actors produced, IMHO, a satisfactorily amusing cinematic entertainment.

            Well, it wasn't
            boring
. But that's the best compliment I can give it.

I'm agreeing with the people who thought it was hilarious. We watched it last night and it's the funniest thing we've seen in ages.

Only mindless idiots who gobble down British cinema because OH LALA IT'S BRITISH! THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN OUR HOLLYWOOD MOVIES! Yet if they had any sincerity in their heart, they'd realize this film is shallow as all hell.

Not sure where the xenophobia is coming from but I really liked this movie and certain bits of it genuinely made me crack up laughing.
That said, there were a lot of times when I was thinking the movie would not translate abroad. It's a very Londoncentric film.

I did indeed. My wife loved it so I bought it on DVD the following day.

It's meant to be funny. And extremely funny it sure is.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

Yah, it's meant to be funny.
A little bit zombified but much ketchup.
                          And highly recommended!
