Watched it for Michael Smiley.
Knew his end before even starting it as or was spoiled here.
But it wasn't a surprise to hear. He gets bumped off a lot.
Could have just watched the episodes he was in and spared myself the time.

I liked it enough (Apart from the ending).
Despite the prequel status, it does well in the diminishing entertainment form of Alien > Aliens > Alien3 > Alien: Resurrection.
Probably on a par with Alien: Romulus or Evil Dead 3

You know what would be more interesting? If the series would focus more on the reasons the alien is an important species to be saved, preserved and studied. We never get that perspective.
It's always, the evil corporation, evil aliens, and saving humanity. I'm bored with it. It's way too shallow.
