Memah the abattoir scene in Predator 2?

That's the first 10 minutes, just to be cheeky. Everything else is proper story stuff
End credits to Metallica (When they were good) was a nice touch

In Scott's 'Alien' the idea was that it was 8 months out, pick up the cargo, a bit more than 8 months back due to the added weight, and then the detour that took them about 6-8 weeks behind schedule.
Ash was already put on board prior to setting off as a last minute change to the itinerant roster and so the crew of the Nostromo are likely on, or around, Earth during this TV show's story.
A ten year old Amanda Ripley might even be around if they are looking to tie it into the extended edition of Cameron's 'Aliens'.
If we end up getting Christmas vibes in the show it could very well be right as The Company sets them all off to that adventure from donkeys ago

It's certainly a bit silly Kuato
I'm enjoying it so far.
It's fairly evident that Neverland will end up being nuked from orbit, just to be sure, and something will be the second star on the right, and on till morning.
Maybe Slightly and his Jiminy Cricket will take what they still have off to Weyland and set up the pre-flight conditions for the Nostromo crew
So far it's better than Prometheus or anything that came after, but not as good as Resurrection or anything that came before

Since OP says spoilers, I won't bother covering all this with spoilers. I also don't know most people by names yet.
Loved the beginning scene with Xenomorph and freezer, although not sure why it didn't just barge in there and instead went up top to attack?
Confused as to what they are doing with that lung by putting that creepy crawly thing that came out of the facehugger (which didn't know they even had those things in them). Do they plan on putting the fertilized lung back into Wendy's brother?
How old is that genius guy in charge of the whole thing suppose to be? They keep saying he's a kid, but he looks well into his 20's.
I'm kind of just looking at this as entertainment/scares and not really needing some excellent story behind it lol. -

I'm guess the chestburster lives in a lung…maybe we should name them to lungbuster as a homage to the idea of telling a joke?
The guy is called the kid because his first name is "Kid". There could be a goat/Pan/Loki joke mixed in there but I'd say he looks about early 30s personally. I think he's just immature acting when compared to conventional others around his own age.
For me it's likely a fine line between comedy, horror and a satirical blend of the two.
We'll have to wait and see though Panther. I am enjoying it though [smmile]

Episode 3 is what has caught me the most Panther
I very much enjoyed the first two but now that all the main players have been established and the positions are set. It seems like now will be when the flesh and bones of the story will form into something a little more biting and tasty
We'll have to wait until next week (And another 4 after that) but it's showing more than a little promise now

I'm guessing Morrow and the Weyland-Yutani woman will make up the outside world story with the island being where most of the xeno action will take place. Ultimately it'll get scorched and that will be the set of for the story of why Alien goes the way it does.
Bangkok already has a street called 'Soi Blade Runner' near the Nana monorail system:
Be a shame not to use that for some city action chase scene at night, in the rain.
But I think most of it will take place on the island and with flashbacks to the ship.
Be a shame to waste Michael Smiley on just that little part at the beginning of the first episode.
But yeah, 8 episodes. Around 8 hours. Nice and tight, but not too short.
