Noah Hawley
is the showrunner of it NZer and he's got a fairly tight reputation for telling tales, so we'll see.
I'm only 2 episodes in and am enjoying it enough but I'm not sure how it will pan out and so won't be recommending it until I'm sure that it will be worth it.

We are 2 episodes into 8 of season 1 (Out weekly until 23rd September)
It could be good, it's certainly not terrible so far
