What coup?? You mean now that this show bomb and he weaseled his way back to the Tonight Show? Yeah, I guess Leno showed us, huh? Didnt see tonights shownot many ever do apparently just by looking at this board alone.

It really does suck how this was handled. I know I would be pissed if Ellen was taken off the air. Now their saying he might not be picked up by Fox. I don't like Conan, but I think that would be a big mistake. I simply watch late night for the guest and that would be one more show that I could flip to.

Look, I dont blame only Leno, MOST of it goes to NBC, I realize that. But Jays act like he is just some innocent bystandered like hes only doing like hes told like a puppy is false. He made it clear he wants the show back. If he was that set on it, he shouldve held his ground BEFORE he gave it up, not after.
I think Conan will be fine in the end though. He just walked off with $35 million dollars, he's fine now lol. -

Conan's PATHETIC UNFUNNY Tonight Show bombed a lot worse than Leno's show did!! Conan lost HALF the Tonight show audience!! HALF!!! That has NEVER happened before in Tonight Show HISTORY!!

Thanks lynne, as an avid Conan fan I'm not only ecstatic to be able to see him again, I'm also glad to see that there are actual decent fans out there of Leno, despite my personal feelings about him. I think we can both agree to disagree on our fave late night hosts.

And yes, true, Conan lost his audiencealthough I'm curious how Lenos Tonight Show wouldve been doing 7 months in his rein if Johnney Carson decided to do a similar show at 10 pm and oh yeah, it sucked too!
Conan was never given a chance because beside the fact he had to beat Dave who was well established at 11:30 for years, he had that huge anchor known as the Jay Leno Show that singlehandily dragged everything down with it.
