They ARE friends. Ask anyone who knows them and they'll you.
Plus how did Leno get murdered?? He is flying high getting the Tonight Show back. It's Conan that got murdered since no major network will pick him up now.
CoNON won't go to Fox since the affiliates lose MILLIONS if they show him instead of their syndicated programming which they make a LOT more money off of.
Even if CoNON goes to Fox it will be cancelled before you know it but he's got TENS of MILLIONS to live VERY comfortable without ever working again.

Chill, megafauna. I'm with you, man. I'm more of a Leno fan, but we don't want to resort to the trash-talk and name-calling. We don't want to stoop that low.
With that being said, look at the people mentioned - comedians, two of whom (Letterman and Stern) publicly didn't like Leno to begin with. No shock there. As for the others, the comedy world seems to be somewhat of a fraternity, so I'm not at all surprised they're backing Conan.
But the big-name celebrities with movies and CDs to promote, would think they would want as many of these shows as possible. Just more outlets to pimp their stuff.

Comeidans Dennis Miller and Paul Rodriguez have publicly backed Leno.
Rodriguez isn't that big anymore but Miller is big time with his own radio show plus he's on the O'Reilly factor AND he was the star of Saturday Night Live at one point.

I just read the interview with O'Reilly that Miller did, and it looks like he isn't on anyones side, he is friends with Conan and Leno.

JoeCB, Miller said Leno should've NEVER left the Tonight Show.

They are not friends just because they joke around with each other once in a while on TV. Kimmel is friends with Howard Stern. REAL friends meaning they hang out at each others houses and have spent vacations together. Stern hates Leno so much that he would not be friends with someone who was friends with Leno. Kimmel made the smart move and had Leno on his show when ABC was considering hiring him. He was protecting his own interests. Just like Leno did.

KImmel used to be friends with Jay, now he has no respect for him at all.

                      Any proof of this?

Ok Maybe they were friends at one time but I doubt it now. Kimmel's Leno impression was no loving tribute to a friend.

Plus Jay went on Oprah crying about how Kimmel "stabbed him in the back". Hmmmm backstabbing I wonder how Jay likes it. I used to love him but I just can't look at him the same way anymore.
To get back on topic I think Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have come out against Jay in all this also.
