What about that episode of the Jay Leno Show where he opened the show with this joke:
"Cold out there today, Kev. It was so cold this morning, I had frost on my Windows Vista."
Material like that is worth keeping this guy, right? -

p3guard is correct, but since I'm not afraid, I'll go first.
Real quick though, I have to say that my favorite part of The Jay Leno Show, as well as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, has always been the opening monologue. I enjoy it very much most nights and find Jay to be funny and entertaining. The monologue however, is not meant to be memorizied. It's meant to be enjoyed at the end of the day, and that's about it. So, sorry guys, I don't write them down as he tells them, therefore I don't have a huge list. I'm only telling these just to prove in fact, that Jay does tell funny jokes. Here are a couple of memorable ones for me, that stick out in my mind from the TJLS.
#1 This was about the woman who lived with her dead husband for about a week before neighbors finally did something about it(this just screams comedy doesn't it?). Jay says "the woman finally realized something was wrong when she said: (Jay's femenine voice) Well that was my day, how was your day?"
#2 "If your name is Tiger Woods, you can get away with running over some bushes, running over a fire hydrant, and crashing into a tree. Oh yeah no problem. But if your name is Tyrone Woods, and you run over a fire hydrant and crash into a tree"(In classic Jay fashion, he proceeds to put one hand behind his head, the other one behind his back, and starts screaming "AHHHHH, STOP, LET ME GO!!!!!!! PLEASE, LET ME GO!!!!!!!" Pretending to be escorted to a police car).
I guess these jokes probably aren't as funny as running around a studio naked with a sock on your dick, or something of that nature. but oh well, I like it. -

Here's a great one from the Tonight Show With Jay Leno:
Jay: Knock Knock!
Band guy: Who is there?
Jay: Orange!
Band guy: Orange Who?
Jay: Orange you glad that I didn't say banana?
My 2nd favorite:
This may take a while, let me rewatch the last 20 years to see if there was another good one for me to share with you.
