I hear that they wanted to get more realism into this film than any other before it or likely after it. So for that reason they made situations in the film where it showed realism, like for example Pennywise waiting in the storm drain for Georgie. How likely is it that Pennywise was like right there - im betting he was standing there twiddling his thumbs or checking facebook on his iPhone 7 until the boat went down the drain. I think it would be admirable of the director to show this at least as a directors cut edition. Maybe it can last 56 hours, mostly just footage of Penywise waiting in dark corners for the losers club to approach - perhaps even throw in a scene where Pennywise is sleeping for 5 hours or taking a dump?
It would be a breath of fresh air for the film industry, well, sans dump.
