shouldn't it be easy to research? as a night manager he isn't just a regular employee but acts as a supervisor during the night time i guess? so i suppose if u googled jonathan pine, his name should come up in some way in a connection to the kairo hotel, no? i don't exactly remember how much time he did there though maybe it was only a few months or so?

I think they had wiped it as part of his cover story/identity.

Yes, they had tampered with and completely redone his "past". Whether that is realistic or not I don't know.
