Watched this this week. Only issue is I don't think the Asian dude is a very good actor 😂. Hammy as hell

I'm on episode 5 of the first season and I can't say that I'm liking it so far
I mean the camerawork and set design is all very classy but the story is Under The Dome filth fit for an average fan of LOST
I get that there will be time travel and faded memories and spaces overlapping and a bigger threat that requires doing the unthinkable to prevent it from occurring but it's all a bit laughable when presented as a serious story being told.
It might yet all work out, perhaps Capaldo will bring it all to a good conclusion and Verity Lambert will figure out that her from The Kumars at 42 is actually an accomplice of the Silurians and is posing her boy's mind but I reckon they'll all end up on an island with a polar bear and a button that needs pushed because the butterflies can't get into, or is it out of, the dome

I've enjoyed this show, particularly after just watching Criminal Record, which was another home run for Capaldi.
Lol @ under the dome btw. I remember there was a plethora of shows that tried to continue the lost vibe like that, the event and flashforward. I actually quite liked flashfoward

Criminal Record was really good, but I was hoping that Jumbo Cush's character had something of the corrupt in her (Well, besides letting a Turkish drug dealer go to get her boy off of the national DNA database at the least, as well as her involvement in the case from the get go).
Capaldo leaving the ambiguity as to whether or not he was a more corrupt man at the end was a nice touch, but he had a dead wife, a junkie daughter, a dog and had looked after Patrick for donkeys and so there could be an alternative take on how that all came to be
I enjoyed Under The Dome but just because it was so bad, and knew it, that it would take the piss out of itself.
Redhead doctor woman with a broke leg for two episodes could suddenly run because the script needed it or Hank from Breaking Bad hamming it up because in this episode he's a good guy, but he'll go back to being a bad guy next one, or will he? Who cares - ham it up Dean Norris!
Hopefully The Devil's Hour gets its second season aired soon and we can all muse over what the heck is going on!

The plot shift at the end where he wanted the real evidence and was actually sort of the good guy went off at a tangent a bit. He also was going to let her die when he was the full on villain which didn't stack up.
Jumbo Cush is new to me - oddly the show I watched before that was Deadwater Fall (not great but it has David Tennant), which she was also in.

Cush best watch out that she doesn't hook up with all The Doctors too soon or she'll run out of parts
Perhaps there'll be a Criminal Record series 2 which could look into some of the story that could be expanded upon (Like her husband and the like). All in all though a reasonably decent show which kept me coming back to it week after week

I don't think that they will wrap up all of the loose ends within the story but who knows, maybe it will all be a perfect model when viewed in its entirety?
Certainly pretty to watch and keeps the audience hooked, I just hope for better storytelling and I'm not sure it will go there (But it might!)
