The end of Prometheus promised a continuation of Shaw and David travelling to the Engineers home planet, questions would be answered etc.
It didn't happen and I think that was largely because SRS responded to the hatred. -

wouldβve been awesome to actually see more of the engineer home planet, not just one short scene of it getting annihilatedβ¦.
also Shaw was a great character who they killed off in a ****ty offscreen way and then gave David credit for literally everything in the future films happening
was some lazy writing that couldβve been fleshed out better if they took more time instead of trying to **** out another stinker -

An old member of the Prometheus board called Frogarama wrote that Scott nuking the Engineers home planet in A:C was basically him reacting to the hate directed towards the Engineer/Space Jockey connection. He destroyed the planet and in doing so destroyed any chance of furthering that plot. -

So he said Dazed but he couldn't retain the writers and so failed to plan as opposed to planned to fail
You know what I'm talking about. Your job requires continuity and reliability and I don't see why his doesn't.
