I would LOVE to see it, which is why I'm trying to help the film get the recognition it deserves in any way I can. Ron is an exceptional actor, I've been a fan for many years 🙂

This film was also a hit at Tribeca. Ron's performance received fantastic reviews as did the film in general. It will be a shame if the general public does not get to see it. Good luck suzy823. Hope you are successful! I also would love to see it!!

Bobby Cannavale gave a great performance in "Roadie" as well. His character Randy the prototypical full-grown passive/aggressive bully. He's nice one second, an a-hole the next. Seems like a friend one minute, and then in the blink of an eye he turns on you. It's a shame this film didn't receive wider distribution.

Ron Eldard is easily one of Hollywood least used amazing actors.
After Sleepers I thought he would explode onto the scene but his career kinda fizzled for no good reason. Sad to see his performance overshadowed in Bastard out of Carolina by Jena Malone. Ron was the backbone of the story and without his believable character, Jena had nothing to play off of anyways.
He was a perfectly transparent actor in Roadie and if you watch iteven if you don't like the filmI cannot see anyone doubting his performance, which was flawless as this loser guy who has just lost his job after 20 years.

I enjoyed the movie. I've known characters like Jimmy. The only complaint I had was I felt the movie needed more cowbell.

I just watched it on cable, ordered it from on Demand channel. I liked it a lot, small movie, small cast, low budget, great story well told. Eldard was terrific in role. It's not about being a roadie, it's a failed ex-roadie returning home after being fired and his mind is messed up. I'd like to see Eldard get Oscar nomination (fat chance) he would deserve it. Not a mainstream movie, no big studio behind it, so no chance. Rest of cast was very good too.

I just discovered this movie. What a gem 🙂 Ron Eldard, Lois Smith and Bobby Cannavale were perfection. Wish it had garnered more attention at the time
