    A shame…
I can just see her in a last scene relying on the kindness of Columbo…
Ok. That's it. I'm in need of some rest. I've become downright silly. Time for bed!
    Have a good night!

Yep, that was the first episode with Columbo's dog.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

He was a great sidekick for Columbo. They were both fairly laid back.

I put a name to Henry the Dog on the website Movie Dude's Pictorial Filmography of Screen Actors.

A different dog was used as Columbo's dog in Etude in Black. Henry the Dog made his first appearance as Columbo's dog in the season four episode Playback and continued to play Columbo's dog up until the season seven episode How to Dial a Murder.

                I always wondered about that.
I mean, Eddie, on Frasier, was played by one of the original's offspring at a certain point, wasn't he?
Lassie was played by a number of dogs over the years… by males.

Funny how animals in shows can be more memorable than the humans.

Judging most humans, it makes perfect sense to me…. or is that "prefect"
