One thing I've never understood is how he could wear a rain coat all of the time. Raincoats of that time would have been murder to wear because they would have been so hot, especially with a suit. Today's coats made out of Gore-Tex are barely tolerable, I can't imagine him wearing the old kind everyday like he did. And how often does it rain in LA anyway?
Everyone may have an opinion but very few seem to have an informed one. -

No doubt the criminals are looking at him thinking, "Look at this fool with his raincoat in this weather. He's got no idea what he's doing."
A lot of the time, the criminals either underestimate or straight up overlook him giving him the opportunity to catch their mistakes.
So many stories, so little time.
