Absolutely! I came here specifically to suggest him. This one scene is the only proof you need:
Josh Brolin seems more like the overly obvious (and typecasted) choice. And he probably wouldn't want to play another cowboy after Jonah Hex anyway. -

Lucas Black
Just kidding! I think Gerard Butler, Russell Crowe, Josh Holloway or Adam Baldwin (Jayne Cobb style). I feel like Marston needs to be played by someone who looks a little dirty, not some clean cut, pretty boy moron
Time for some thrilling heroics -

I definitely agree with Karl Urban or Josh Holloway. That pic of Urban from
Comanche Moon
has me sold. Here is a recent pic of Josh as a cowboy on

I also kind of think Max Martini could pull off Marston, mainly for his tough guy look and voice, but wouldn't be as good as the first two.

I'm thinking this could be made into a trilogy of movies (with Josh Holloway in the lead role, of course):
Red Dead Redemption- Everything from the beginning to the assault on the fort and the ill-fated river crossing.
Red Dead Revolution - Marston's dealing in Mexico.
Red Dead Revenge - From taking out Dutch to Jack avenging his father.
- Everything from the beginning to the assault on the fort and the ill-fated river crossing.
