Absolutely! I came here specifically to suggest him. This one scene is the only proof you need:
Josh Brolin seems more like the overly obvious (and typecasted) choice. And he probably wouldn't want to play another cowboy after Jonah Hex anyway.

I also kind of think Max Martini could pull off Marston, mainly for his tough guy look and voice, but wouldn't be as good as the first two.

It's funny, I was going to post the uncanniness of Karl Urban to the character, but it's seems I have been beaten to it. It's almost like the character was modeled after Urban's likeness.

Red Dead Redemption

• Everything from the beginning to the assault on the fort and the ill-fated river crossing.

• Marston's dealing in Mexico.
  Red Dead Revenge
• From taking out Dutch to Jack avenging his father.

After seeing Daniel Craig in Cowboys and Aliens, i think he would be good for the role.
All he needs to do is work on his accent.
