The visuals were better than avatar combined with gravity.

Hahahahahhaha! Haaaaaaaahaaahaaa! Are you serious? The only awards this deserves are worst picture, worst actor, worst actress, worst screenplay, worst special effects, worst cinematography, and worst director at the razzies.

I swear that three of the accounts on this thread are all the same sock puppet accounts. I swear the OP, KingChildKiller2, and manchof1 are all the same (unless the last one is just jokingbut I'm nearly certain the OP and KingChildKiller2 are the same)

Considering the fact that I have almost zero respect for what the Oscars represent, sure give this turd an Oscar. The Oscars are all about politics and pandering to the Academy to have mostly overly sentimental films recognized and applauded by people who wouldn't know pacing, story, and character development if they were slapped in the face with it.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Oscar winning films that are absolutely fantastic. But being voted into a bloated awards show voted on by a bunch of egotistical blowhards does not make a film great.
And the "otherworldly" visual effects you speak of consists of horribly rendered CGI on par with The Green Lantern.
But, we all have our own opinions. You stated yours, and I stated mine.
