God, you have execrable taste. The first Alien was one of the greatest horror movies ever made. A masterpiece. This was absolute dreck. Boring, badly acted, no timing, no suspense, and no tact. The first movie achieved greatness by hardly ever showing us the monster. This one clumps along with hob nailed boots, grinning for the camera. They should have got Jim Carrey to play the alien.

That's only because fans were excited to see Ridley Scott direct another Alien film since the first one is a legend in the science fiction monster movie horror genre.
But after enough people saw it, it was deemed as a failure within the Alien lore. It explained nothing about the origins of the Alien other than giant albino monks drinking black goo that somehow created an alien??

Gotten always reads like a Deliverance type word to me. It just looks very wrong and stupid when people write it.
"Ah just gotten me some moonshine and am fixing to get mighty drunk"
You stupid fuckers, you know who you are. -

I thought it was a good movie. It was better than Prometheus and Alien Resurrection.
I agree some scenes she definitely trying to copy Ripley in Aliens. The alien in Alien3 sniffed Ripley and that famous quote "GET AWAY FROM HER YOU BITCH"
AND THEY HAD the actor that played Ash in this movie with a cgi face.
Other than that. It was a really good movie. -

The original Alien had some of the best actors in the world in it. John Hurt is one of the top two or three in the world, and Ian Holm, Sigourney Weaver, Harry Dean Stanton and Yaphet Kotto were all top notch performers. None of the subsequent Alien films was particularly good, though a couple were entertaining. This one, though, was utter trash. Mostly derivative, and very poor acting.
