The way I see it, she’s overly sensitive and insecure and vain and can’t tolerate teasing. The Brittany sock is just a funny, teasing sock and if Monicah had laughed at it, people would have liked her. Instead, she reacted badly. I don’t think TWD board changed her. I think it exposed a part of her personality that she hadn’t shown yet.

Except that I’m still not sure that the whole Miley persona isn’t a huge troll! I have this idea that two people are behind Miley. I think they have fun doing over the top makeup and hair and then posting photos of it and saying batty things. It feels like something my teen daughters would do together, for kicks

No. I theorize two people because I imagine them coming up with ideas together of crazy things to say. And I can imagine them looking for funny wigs in stores and surprising each other with them. “Found a new Miley wig today!”

But more seriously, I agree completely. Maybe it's just one person doing it for their own amusement. But either way I definitely think it's purposefully over the top just to mess around. Especially because she actually looks pretty and like she'd be really pretty if she took one normal picture lol -

Yes, good point. But the brittany sock was also mocking her for being promiscuous, which was the only part I was a little uncomfortable with. Like Bee, I don't approve of any slut-shaming, even if it's very funny. If Monicah wants to have sex with truck drivers while her weird bf watches, that's okay with me, as long as it's consensual. The brittany sock cleverly parodied Monicah's appetites by making them look like the actions of an automaton. Brilliant, but a little mean.
