Yes, good point. But the brittany sock was also mocking her for being promiscuous, which was the only part I was a little uncomfortable with. Like Bee, I don't approve of any slut-shaming, even if it's very funny. If Monicah wants to have sex with truck drivers while her weird bf watches, that's okay with me, as long as it's consensual. The brittany sock cleverly parodied Monicah's appetites by making them look like the actions of an automaton. Brilliant, but a little mean.

it's possible that Monicah read it as an attack because she's so used to hating brittany. But as the thread went on it became more obvious that brittany was baiting her as a bimbo who had no dignity and just wanted sex (which I feel is a dangerous position for most men to adopt).

When has Monicah done anything that suggests the contrary though? A parody is just that but if you see the original behavior as shameful then it's going to seem like shaming. -

I agree. I don't see it as slut shaming at all, frankly. Nobody is criticizing Monicah for really really liking penis. She comes off as a caricature though and I understand how that easily lends itself to parody.

It was clearly parodying Monicah's wild stories and penchant for objectification to the extreme.
i found nothing about that story funny or whatever. was kinda realy disturbing actually. and given that this sock was construed around Monica's real life stories, makes it even nastier.

I just re-read it and also didn't find it very funny. Quite misogynistic, especially given the context.
most of all it was cold and sterile and there was just nothing sexual or even human about this story. which made it so dark and sinister
