Brando, DeNiro, Duvall, Hackman, Nicholson
Pacino doesn't quite make it, alas. Of the contemporary lot, most are too terrible to even mention. Gosling isn't too bad, though he's technically Canadian.

Yeccchh! Pretty boys with limited talent. McConaughey is good in the True Detective series but otherwise tends to ham it up.
