You apparently did not read my posts. I repeatedly have stated that if they are passionate about making a dent in this issue, then instead of creating another problem, become a part of the solution. Get into politics, grassroots if need be, become educated in how to make changes that are necessary so that you can help to get those changes brought before the government where policies are made.
Policies are not made with Gorilla Glue and pavement.

but that's the whole point of the protests, changes have to be made NOW THIS MOMENT or we are ****ed! global warming and nature will not wait for them to become politicians that can change sth for the better. changes have to be made NOW, not in 10-20 years. do you not get this?
it's too late to be all calm now, sit back and take these things easy. people are already dying all over the world bc of the man-made climate catastrophe. many more will die, in the end everything will collapse if we don't make changes NOW. if its not already too late… -

Yeah, people are paying attention, and they're getting pissed off at the idiots who are keeping people from getting to work and to the hospital, NOT to the causes that they're trying to draw attention to.
Rosa Parks did the right thing by doing the right thing. She didn't stand in front of a bus or block ambulances.

Of course they're getting pissed. All direct action pisses some types of people off if they're doing it right.
Her disruption may have made a lot of people late by refusing to move.
