Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Bowie in the 70's.
There are too many musicians and bands to list, through the years.
I just feel certain musicians and artists don't live up to their "royalty" within the industry and public opinion.
I hate the Beatles. So what?
My sister's clock which played a new tune EVERY HOUR on THE Hour helped to solidify my opinion.
A Saturday night special is an EVERYDAY special. -

Huh? They had the best vocal three-part harmonies of the era next to The Beach Boys and a few others. Also Paul McCartney and John Lennon are widely considered two of the best rock vocalists of all time.

The GD studio stuff should be tolerable to those who are sober.
Being stoned helps to take their live stuff as well as having gone to shows.

Laura Nyro was the best female singer-songwriter of her generation and much better than, say, Janis Joplin or Joni Mitchell
