I realize as PM she's in the loop before everyone else, but she sent out a public tweet stating that "the world will be saddened by new from Buckingham Palace this afternoon" or something along those lines, making what should have been a private matter, public, and essentially leaking news, before an official announcement was even made. It was as if she needed to be in the spotlight to be the bringer of news herself, in advance.
I found that to be a terribly cheeky maneuver.

This is very different when she revealed something regarding a head of state in advance, just to come across as a know-it-all. At least, that's what it looked like, especially in retrospect. She reminded me of a little kid in grammar school whining,
"I know something you don't know, neener-neener-neener!"
I mean, why? Just,….why?

I'm ok with spoilers in movies too. I have usually forgotten them by the time the scene comes up anyway
Yeah, it does seem like she's wanting to show off that she knows something before everyone else but I don't think anyone is expecting too much from her anyway! -

It's being speculated that the announcement will come shortly, possibly at 6 p.m. local time in the UK.
That's a copy of her tweet, posted in public while Queen Elizabeth was technically still under her doctor's care as far as the general public was concerned, hours
before
any public or official announcement had been made yet.
Her hubris is nauseating.
