To sum it up succinctly, you don't know what it's like to win as it is outside of your personal experience (Not a dig at German here, but feel free to stick one on f you wish
) and I do.
Therefore when you put yourself forward missing the mark of an argument because you feel that you are defending those who didn't ask for you to do so you are attacking those in question - the ones who are genuinely being abused in the zeitgeist.
Now if you think living children being tortured by a society which propagates such notions today is less important than a similar task occurring from 80(ish) years ago then that is up to you.
I just happen to think that it is blatantly obvious what is happeneing to these people is wrong and everyone marching alongside saying "No, it's better for them" is embarrassing and certainly in a parallel to how entire nations can overlook atrocities for temporary convenience.
