My citation suggests that leftist governors are being blamed by Republicans, but that the question of their culpability is still open, whereas the guilt of Trump and his allies is clear and incontrovertible.

I'll accept that fact if you accept that Trump caused the deaths of about 200, 000 people by encouraging people to not wear masks and ignore social distancing, and by refusing to legislate testing, and by appointing morons loyal to him instead of actual scientists.
