The uneducated right-wingers on this board have more-or-less given up all hope of making any headway against the brilliant left on TWD board (it's no contest, really; they just get swatted around and go away bewildered and bleeding). But they increase the ferocity of their attacks on the hapless few (like Croft) who represent leftish positions on GD. This polarizing of positions mimics, quite uncannily, the polarizing of politics around the (stupid) two-party systems that the British set up, and that, incidentally, reflect the binary ideology that Derrida deconstructed.

People like Lake, drakestraw and ****ing Jaguar are what they come to the table with.

The right on this board has traditionally been your cousins, the GoT trolls. But of curse they been joined by posters like Soul Venom, Jaguar and MMC2.

Nah, eclectic. I think for myself and don't toe a party line. Actually I'm confused about nothing. Throw any issue out there and I know exactly where I stand and can defend my position into the dirt, if need be.

I'll give you an example. If I say I believe society should guarantee a minimum income so everybody is housed and fed, some fool will say "Oh, you're a liberal". And I'll say no, I think gay marriage is a travesty and it should be illegal. Oh, so you're a social conservative. And I'll say no, I think if a cop sees a gay couple having sex on a bus bench they should ignore it and go catch a thief.

Frankly, I think most American political labels are quite meaningless. Conservatives in America are free-market types, which completely contradicts what conservatism means in Europe (where the thinking originates). Louis Hartz argues that all Americans are liberals, whatever they might think they are, and I agree with him. There are no nuances in American classifications. So I don't have a problem with your occupying different positions in different contexts. But some of your specific positions are very weird: such as arguing for Western superiority or for women being intrinsically inferior. Those sound like such dumb redneck positions I can't even take them seriously.

I didn't say women are inferior. I said they're physically smaller than men and they are incapacitated much of their lives by pregnancy, child rearing and even menstruation. They even must squat to pee. These are biological impositions on their lives of which men are free. This is the reason why patriarchy rules the world.
And how is Western civilization not superior? The world wouldn't have computers and automobiles and electric lights without it. I'm not saying white people are superior. That would be nonsense. But what European cultures have created far exceeds anything done by any other cultures.
Everything the Chinese have and are using now to compete with us was given to them by us. They created nothing themselves which accounts for their current success. It's an inferior culture.
