You're sweet to take these things into consideration. I'm sure that's a lot to go through. I have been trying to stop myself from getting personally offended by rude people. And i try to stop myself from being crappy to people just to make myself feel better because it happens.
But i think that most people are pretty consistent with their behavior, so if she's usually cool that's one thing. It just sounds like something a very uncool person would say -

Perhaps like some of the trolls here who are "Debbie Downers" - that's what they live for. Without it, they have nothing else in life. It's how they get their kicks and they figure by trying to making other people feel miserable, it's their way of feeling joy. Sick and twisted, unhealthy and maniacal, stupid and ****ed up,….I could go on and on,…and on and on. But you know the type…. It's their reason for being. Their purpose in life.
They're not happy so they want to make everyone else feel ****ty too?

I agree with you completely. And i don't think it makes them feel better. I think there are a lot of cool people here who love to argue, and they don't cross any lines, but then there are the ones you described that make this place lame.
Luckily there are more cool people than miserable people -i think

Some time after she becomes homeless but before she dies alone you could roll up in a limo and offer her some wine, but then say something snazzy about how she would probably rather use it to cook with (an extra sick burn since she's homeless), and then peel away and the limo tires would splash her with dirty street water
