The Pacific Rim was on my religion final, a class I got a B in.
    Cabin in the Woods
, sounds like one of the horror movies I saw of cabins or such in the woods.

You watched Pacific Rim for a religion course???? How come?
Cabin in the Woods is definitely horror, but kind of postmodern horror.

No, the Pacific Rim must be a missionary field of the Southern Baptists.

I haven't done too outstanding with what they do but got maybe all A's + B's & 1 C. I do all the small things and it pulls my grade up.

That sounds pretty good. I've been at the handing out (of grades) end for many years now, but I still remember how painful it was to do badly.

I did pretty good in Music History but didn't do much for the last few chapters.

Oh yes, I gather you're a musician. I wish I knew more about music history. I'm a huge Bach fan, btw.

A lot of people are in love with Bach.

It's intentional with cabin in the woods -but not so much so that it feels forced. Joss whedon is really good at walking that fine line.
I can't stand movies that try to be bad like Sharknado or velocipastor.

Me too! I actually didn't watch that when it was on because I thought it was too corny. I watched the whole thing as an adult though, realized that was the whole point, and love it dearly now. I loved Firefly immediately.
Joss is a just a cool dude who can actually write women well -rare for Hollywood

How weird! Same with me. I despised people who used to rave about Buffy. I was too cool to watch that crap, I thought. I only watched it about 10 or 12 years ago and I was blown away.

Lol that's so awesome. We both can't get into the trendy stuff, I'm not surprised. We're too cool to run the crowd.
I'm just trying to get ahead of anyone diehard fans who try to rip is for there since the beginning
And I watched it just a little over 10 years ago! We could have been watching at the same time!
But now I have to know, Angel or Spike?
