i usually have a really hard time getting into poetry and lyricism, but Emily is one real exception. others are Sappho, Voltairine De Cleyre, William Carlos Williams, Friedrich Hölderlin, Rainer Maria Rilke, Adrienne Rich, Dylan Thomas, Else Lasker-Schüler, Charles Baudelaire, Sylvia Plath, Friedrich Schiller, Arthur Rimbaud.

I used to think '?!? Whatthefuck, 'Dick Ballhorn?!'…no way…shouldn't you at least go by Richard, or Rich, just to mitigate this?' -

Wasn't there another funny last name you mentioned years ago, and you knew the person with the name?
Also, lol at "mitigate." If you watch the news, you'll hear "mitigate" and "mitigation" 100 times a day. -

Sorry, that was from my workspeak, spilling over into here…
I had a university roommate with the last name Smellie, and everyone called him 'Smell'. People would come up to him and ask 'Hey great nickname! What's the story behind it?'. If he wasn't keen on the person he'd say 'well, that's my ****ing name!!'.
