I'm glad you were able to get that sorted out with your friend and that she was nice about it. She should at least understand you not wanting to get your father sick.
The resort might end up closing anyway. Disneyland, Disney World and Universal Studios will be closing this weekend! (Through the end of the month, but possibly longer.)

I wouldn't be surprised if it does shut down. I was googling other resorts here and a few have closed. They're having the presidential debate and no one is allowed to go. Even small events around here are getting cancelled left and right
