Juan Kerr cannot lose, at this point. He has been so badly humiliated that he can only save face by staying here and pretending he is very happy. Deep down he is seething, though, and is very troubled. It is never nice to be thoroughly despised by people who are much smarter than you. One might say it is the worst nightmare of modernity. So he's stuck, on a board which he argues is full of stupid people, claiming with a singular lack of conviction that he's here to destroy us. Poor fellow! He'll be along soon with his patented brand of cheery, ungrammatical, incoherent babble.
