Yeah, they really sold out in the end. But it's the only superhero series apart from Daredevil I could bring myself to watch. The others are too dire for words!

I have a friend who is an editor for Vikings. The post-production is all done in Toronto.

Really? I loved the first two seasons, with the Aussie guy doing the lead. It's dropped a bot since, but is still very watchable.

Yes, he edited a few Cronenberg flicks and then I believe that they had some sort of falling out (I am closer to his wife and I have never asked). He fell back on Vikings.

Cronenberg seems to have been a hard guy to work with. One of those introverted geniuses, I guess. I loved The Fly and Crash. Eastern promises and History of Violence were okay, not great.

I'm watching Sharpe (with Sean Bean) which is ancient stuff. Also (Kung Fu) David Carradine. Retro time.

Weird! Synchronicity! I am currently reading the Sharpe books! I read all the Last Kingdom books.

Damn, that is weird! I don't have time to read fiction, but I can watch any number of shows. I remember watching Sharpe re-runs as a kid and loving it.

I also liked Banshee a lot. Very violent, very sexy.

Kung Fu was in some ways such a moral show. The guy never wants to fight but some mouth breather always leaves him no other option….

I actually haven't started watching it yet. Saving it up for a weekend break. But I'm glad you liked it. I'm sure I will.

Kung Fu was brilliant. David Carradine played Kwai Chang Caine perfectly.
Loved the flashbacks to the Shaolin temple, and all the gentle philosophy, which could turn into great martial arts battles.
Got it all on DVD. Must watch again. Thanks for the memory.
