MacGuffin: A literary device. Think the Holy Grail in Indiana Jones, the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, and microprocessors in The Departed.
Dinosaur Jr.: Named after the band.
FishInThePercolator: Named after the Twin Peaks quote. Pete makes coffee for Coop and Harry, and he realizes just as Coop takes a sip that there was a fish in the percolator.
PhoQ: Didn't like the shortened versions of the first two names, so I tried thinking of a short name. It's pronounced "**** you". Pho is a Vietnamese noodle dish pronounced "fuh".
A Bundle of Sticks: The original meaning of the word "******". A little bit of self-deprecation/reappropriation.
The name now is named after the book; one of my favorite books. -

Oh, I see. It's my least favorite J.D. Salinger. I prefer the mish and the mosh of Franny and Zooey. It gives off a weird and unrelenting nervousness; Salinger's writing is powerfully neurotic. And the story of Zooey, who's a boy, drips with incestuous stirrings. It's pretty good.

You forgot HaroldPenisman and men.
Vietnamese here pronounce pho like /foʊ/ like
oʊ GOAT, code, go, foal | oʊ.ər mower

I don't even know which is the one you cited, although I'm sure it's one of the others: Phở or pho[1] (pronounced variously as /fɜːr/, /fʌ/, or /foʊ/;[2] Vietnamese: [fəː˧˩˧]

Oh yeah, I forgot that one and many others. I go through names a lot, yet I am always recognized because I'm incredibly interesting lol.
That one was from a Bible Reloaded reading of a Chick Tract. They named one of the characters that.
My first name on IMDb was cultureslum, which is a lyric from This Could be Anywhere from The Dead Kennedys. I was going to name my punk band that, but I could never get enough people to start a band.
