Nice surprise. I wonder if you're ever going to notice someone has responded (agreed on the movie, it's really neat).

We just watched it last night with Ravenous.
Damn fun movie. Not great, better than just good but most importantly, I would never feel silly recommending it.
What to like:
Quality cinematography.
Beautiful scenery.
Completely believable characters.
No preachy messaging in the plot.
Great monster/s
Fairly original.
Well within the levels of; Shawn of the Dead, Paul, The Wolds End, Doghouse and the like.
No really "cliche" horror/monster movie characters or match-ups.
Damn glad we Netflixed it.

Agreed. Well worth every penny I spent on the DVD that I purchased from a retailer off of Amazon.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
