The co-star - she was absolutely our favorite drunk ever.
Either she's an outstanding actress to play a drunk (woman particularly) so well or she's an outstanding actress to act the part so well while so drunk.
Either way - very impressive.
She especially rocked my English wife who is completely sick of all the "Shellys and Meeeshells" portrayals of drunken English/Irish/Welsh girls.
A couple three of her scenes were well worth rewinds to try to figure whether she actually was drunk or not but worth the rewind simply on face value as well. -

Drunks on film usually annoy me, just like they do in real life, but Ruth managed to be plain adorable here. Impressive really. I wondered whether she really got drunk for the movie or just acted it out (found out by reading the trivia section).
