The old drunk guy. I forget his name. He got attacked by the squid type thing in his bathroom at first. He's the best.

My fave character was the little chubby barman. He cracked me up, the way he delivered his lines.

As people have said, it's a great ensemble-Mine is with out a doubt Paddy, very very funny old git. Bronagh Gallaghe's pub landlady had great expressions and even Garda Lisa was most impressive when drunk, so much so that I nearly believed she was ACTUALLY drunk whilst shooting (I know, I know, it's called good acting-but the director allegedly did take them out to get plastered and filmed it for their use!).

I'd have to say Paddy too, the old Irish rascal.
Overall the movie was quite diverting, a nice bit of fun indeed.
Not perfect, not that I expected it to be, but still some room for improvement.
The whole "Irish joke" aspect of it got a little tiresome I have to admit the movie leaned a bit too much on what is basically one long Irish-drinking joke.
I would have preferred if that was less the center of the film, and if they had skipped the romance between Coyle and Bradley. They were pleasant together but there wasn't a lot of chemistry, which is not hard to understand, as Bradley is still in some ways a child and Coyle is in his 40s. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with May-December relationships but in this case there was not really much of a spark.

Paddy for me. I love how he wondered if he could sell the grabber he caught on eBay.

                    all of them!
seriously, this was very good movie most because of extremly likeable characters. not sure if I can remember movie with characters so simle, human and yet amusing and real.

Paddy was damn good and believable but once lisa got drunk - she stole the movie!
