What an American movie without a Token Female? How did they get away with that?

There was the "token female" at the end of the movie as the Hospital Corpsman Second Class Danielle Albert who is an actual U.S. Navy medic who played Chief Hospital Corpsman O'Brien. Happy?

The admiral giving orders to the US navy officer did sound like a woman. Although we only heard her voice.
Edit: doing some research and discovering that Admiral Howard, who in real life co-ordinated the rescue of Captain Phillips by radio, is indeed a woman, I am surprised that the movie did not utilise her more. All we got was a voice. -

Well, you sound like you're just being a troll but on the rare, rare instance you are not, it was based on real events and there were no women on the ship and none of the pirates were women in the actual event.

It's amusing that even on the discussion boards of films that pass the 'anti-PC' criteria demanded by dorks like the OP, they're still here, whining about stuff no normal, well-adjusted human gives a crap about.
