Oh my God. It's horrific. I'm sure they hired an excellent voice coach but hanks sounds ridiculous.

He's supposed to sound like the character. But at his age And stage of his career he is lazy.

They are both about the same age and Phillips is American, so what's your big deal? Phillips doesn't have a particular accent, that Hanks should mimic. You're just punching at shadows.

If Hanks didnt have a particular accent to mimic, why did he sound so strange? it was very weird to me too the way he talked. He was talking like a foreigner trying to do a southern accent.

I thought it was supposed to be a boston accent, i read the real phillips lived in boston for a while
