Freddie was the worst and daddy issues are not an excuse for what he did to his wife. I'm not entirely sure why she went to the party to begin with though? I know Perry invited her to get back at Freddie but why did she go in the first place?

agree. just wanted to slap him all the time. if there is a flaw and plot hole it was morella going to that party. it was so they would have an excuse to make freddie even more reprehensible than he was.

Ok so I didn't miss some major reason why she went then. Yeah, I mean it was kind of an extreme thing for this rich housewife to randomly go and do in the evening .. but I guess we have to overlook that.

Freddy was definitely the most abhorrent and repulsive of them all. I was particularly angered when Lenore was trying to do everything she could to help her mother. Freddy was unhinged beyond belief.
Not sure why his wife went to that party, other than maybe boredom and curiosity. But still, Freddy was despicable, especially with lying to Lenore, his drug-fueled insanity (he looked like he was coked out the whole time, so yeah, good acting!). I was so glad when
          he
got the nightshade! That final straw with the teeth though! Aaaghhh! Fuckin' brutal psychopath.

oh the teeth. that was the clincher. I thought he was just going to pull 1 but all of them? he got what he deserved.

That really creeped me out and disgusted me!
I felt so much relief when Lenore found her mom and finally saw what was going on. She had her suspicions, though. To see her go because of the bloodline deal was so sad. She was a spark of sanity.

at least her death was quick immediate and hopefully painless.

Yes, I think her death was quick and painless because the demon or whatever she is knew she was innocent. Still was sad though

Yes, like why would he pull out her teeth?? Psycho! That's why it was so satisfying to watch that blade get closer and closer and he couldn't do anything about it

When he had to go back inside the building before demolition, I knew
                      that's
                      where Verna would get him!
Really, it was done very well. Quite clever.

maybe we’re supposed to guess she was a bored rich housewife unsatisfied with her psycho husband. that was the 1 sour note plot wise for me.

That's the only thing I can think of as to why she went to the party.
Totally agree, definitely the sour note!

She went to PAH-HAR-TAY Lilith, the full shabang. That's why she used the burner phone and took her wedding ring off.
I was hoping that Lenore was from an affair she'd had, which would have saved her, but seems that's not the case
Even Death decided to make Freddy's death as bad as possible after the pliers incident

I was so happy to see Verna behind Freddy to encourage him to continue adding nightshade to his stash of coke. He was such a twisted and sick bastard.
I think pretty much everyone felt bad for Lenore. Not only was she the most innocent, but she genuinely had a good heart and cared about her family. She was pure.

Indeed Lilith she was the purest by far, but I think that she knows her death will saves millions, if not billions, in the future from the actions of her mother grieving for her.

True, Juan. Quite true. If not for Lenore, her mother never would have survived, such as it was, to go on and change the world.
