It was one of the worst films I have ever seen, the acting was alright, but somewhat resembling 90210, the characters were for the most part unlikable, and they were trying so hard to make it cool that it just failed, the premise was almost a complete ripoff of the game Prey (seriously, in the game the aliens appear and just beam up massive numbers of people in order to harvest organic material, which makes a LOT more sense than them wanting our brains, which just feels like it came straight from a bad 70's alien conspiracy theory/invasion movie). The writing (everything from setting, to dialogue, was dodgy, I would have to rewatch to give specific examples. I think the only part of the film I DID like was the drone attack sequence, and that was about it.

It was the best ending.
Not only did - at last - the humans not win - which might be only a second of any invasion movie - but there was a question mark. What a kick-alien ending.
Two best devices for a genre (as they call it) movie.
The odd clunky bit or two (like: They are really pissed off) are easily forgiven for one of the most awe-inspiring movies made, rising above any drivitive aspect.

You must be extremely easy to please. A friend and I went to see this diabolical movie after viewing a seemingly interesting preview. What a waste of money and time. The audience booed, jeered and ridiculed this film as the credits rolled up, an experience unfamiliar to me but wow, so justified!

There was not one likeable character in this movie ..it was a pleasure to see them being picked off one by one.
A sequel has never been made and can never imagine what it would look like if by chance an equally pathetic bunch of humans are required to continue the story line.
